The Company TRP CHARVET has been based in Armentières for more than one century. In Armentières, City of Northern France known since the Middle Ages as the “city of canvas”, was produced the most beautiful sheets. At that time, TRP Charvet was specialized in the production of fabrics for sheets, workclothes and outdoor fabrics in cotton.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the company diversified its offer in all industrial markets thanks to the weaving of linen yarns, the favourite raw material in Flanders where the cultures abound.

Nowadays, the fully modernized production-tool allows the company to manufacture widths from 40 to 330 cm with natural materials such as linen and cotton but also polyesters, HT polyamides, aramids for technical applications.
As a weaver for more than a century, TRP Charvet combines experience and innovation. This know-how has created an offer fully dedicated to the world of home and decoration. Mainly Kitchen-towels, but also aprons, table linen, bed linen and accessories (bags, pillows). 100% French products : all woven and manufactured in our workshops in France.
